Functions:

We are looking for Geroculturists for our Barcelona Residencies.

 

Your main functions will be:

- Encourage the elderly who reside in the center to maintain their independence by attending to their physical and socialization needs.

- Help people who need it to wash or bathe, get dressed, eat, take medication, go to the bathroom and move around.

- Plan and supervise social or leisure activities together with other professionals (occupational therapist, psychologist, etc.).

- Perform certain health tasks such as applying creams or changing dressings; they are attentive to changes in the health or mood of the residents, in case they are symptoms of discomfort or deterioration. Ensuring the safety of people at all times; under the supervision of the nursing professional.

Requirements:

- Professional certificate or training cycle in the areas of Dependency Care, Geriatric Assistant or Social Integration.

- Motivation and/or experience to work with older people

 

It offers:

- Temporary contract to cover a leave of absence

- Immediate incorporation

- Full day

- 12-hour shifts
